A24 Bolsters Cybersecurity with Shane Tully as New Global CISO

A24 has bolstered its cybersecurity leadership with the appointment of Shane Tully as the new Global Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). Tully brings a wealth of international experience and accolades to the role.

Tully's impressive career spans various sectors, including state government agencies, transport, and financial services. He has led security architecture, strategy, and risk management initiatives, demonstrating a strong track record in enterprise security.

His expertise has been recognised globally. In 2010, Tully led the Australian Transport Sector in the Department of Homeland Security's international Cyberstorm III exercise. He was also honoured as the first Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Information Security (CIISec) outside the UK. Additionally, Tully was awarded for his exceptional contribution to the Information Security Decade of De-perimeterisation 2004-2013 by The Open Group.

Tully's influence extends to numerous significant security initiatives. He founded the oneworld airline alliance IT Security Forum and was a founding member of the board of management of The Jericho Forum. Tully also served as an invited SCADA representative to the Australian Government IT Security Expert Advisory Group (ITSEAG) from 2009 to 2013. His contributions include work with the Cloud Security Alliance, SABSA-TOGAF integration, Australian Government Trusted Information Sharing Network (TISN), Australian Law Reform Commission, NIST, and the MITRE ATT&CK Framework.
