Checking Your EPF Balance on DigiLocker

To begin, download and install the DigiLocker app from your smartphone's app store (available on Android). After logging in or registering on the app, link your EPFO account using your Aadhaar number. This step syncs your EPFO account with DigiLocker.

Next, navigate to the EPFO section inside DigiLocker where you can access your EPF documents. Here, you will find your EPF passbook, UAN card, and Pension Payment Order (PPO). With these documents at your fingertips, you can now view your latest PF balance and transaction details directly through the app.

Alternative Methods for Checking Your EPF Balance

For users without internet or smartphone access, alternative methods like the UMANG app, EPFO portal, SMS, or missed call services remain available. To check your EPF balance via SMS, ensure your mobile number is registered with the UAN. Send an SMS in the "EPFOHO UAN" format to 7738299899, and you will receive your latest PF balance and details via SMS shortly.

Alternatively, to check your PF balance via missed call, give a missed call to 9966044425. After the call, an SMS with your PF account details will be received shortly.
