Additive Industries & Dyndrite Boost Metal 3D Printing for Key Industries
Additive Industries and Dyndrite have joined forces to enhance metal 3D printing for industries like aerospace, automotive, and defense. The collaboration brings Dyndrite's LPBF Pro toolpath and automation tools to Additive Industries' customers, promising improved reliability and repeatability.
An internal project showcased the potential of this partnership. It demonstrated dynamic thin-wall detection and adaptive toolpath control using MetalFab and Dyndrite LPBF Pro. This innovation ensures better part quality and certification-ready traceability.
The Dyndrite LPBF Pro-powered MetalFab workflow provides Additive Industries' customers with fine-grained control over part production. Automated logs and serialized part data ensure compliance in regulated industries, reducing engineering overhead.
Andrew Hawkins of Additive Industries praised the collaboration, stating that Dyndrite LPBF Pro combined with MetalFab technology raises the bar for capability, reliability, and repeatability. Aman Tanna of Additive Industries will present 'CAD-Driven, Adaptive LPBF' at ICAM 2025, highlighting the advancements made possible by this partnership.
