In the latest episode of the popular podcast Era Uma Voz, Diogo Mesquita opened up about his passion for cooking and the challenges he faced at the beginning of his voice acting career. The episode, titled "A Voz de Remy Ratatouille," features a conversation between Mesquita and podcast host Tomás Delfim.

Mesquita, who began his artistic career in 2000, gained recognition on television through roles in soap operas and children's series. However, it was his voice acting roles that propelled him to fame. Some of his most notable roles include voicing Nick Wilde in Zootropolis, Jumba in Lilo & Stitch, and Agricultor Manuel in the children's series A Ilha das Cores. He also lends his voice to Robby Stewart in Hannah Montana.

During the podcast, Mesquita drew a parallel between himself and the character Remy from Ratatouille, a rat with an exceptionally keen sense of smell and taste who dreams of becoming a chef. Like Remy, Mesquita shared his insecurities at the beginning of his voice acting career and discussed the power of voice perpetuation.

Remy, who lives in Paris, discovers the kitchen of one of the city's most renowned restaurants and decides to turn his dream into a reality. The animated film Ratatouille, which was released in Portugal in August 2007, tells the story of Remy's journey to become a renowned chef.

The tenth episode of Era Uma Voz highlights both Mesquita's passion for the culinary arts and the challenges he faced as a voice actor starting out. It is a must-listen for fans of Diogo Mesquita and anyone interested in the world of voice acting and cooking.

Technology played a significant role in Mesquita's voice acting career, as he often utilizes artificial-intelligence tools to perfect his performances. Artificial-intelligence has become an integral part of the modern voice acting landscape, enabling actors to refine their skills and deliver more authentic performances.
