Airbus Expands Aussie Support with New Perth Helicopter Hub
Airbus Helicopters has expanded its support network in Australia with the opening of a new distribution platform in Perth, Western Australia. The inauguration was hosted by a high-ranking executive from Airbus Helicopters, marking a significant step in the company's long-term vision for the region.
The new platform, located near Perth Airport, aims to provide faster and more efficient news service for all Airbus helicopter operators across Western Australia. It will support all types of Airbus helicopters and offer critical support to offshore and energy customers. The facility spans 500 square metres initially, with the capacity to expand up to 1,500 square metres to meet future demands.
The opening ceremony was led by Romain Trapp, the Executive Vice President of Customer Support and Services at Airbus Helicopters. This strategic move is part of Airbus' broader plan to build a resilient and efficient logistics backbone for helicopter operators in the region.
