Akash Network Price Soars: AKT Gains 31% After Closing of High-Profile Crypto Wallet Pre-Sale Value Rises to $12 Million

The price of Akash Network's AKT token skyrocketed by 31% within the past 24 hours, trading at $1.81 as of 3:10 a.m. EST, with a jaw-dropping 256% boost in trading volume to $236.26 million.
AKT's journey started at $1.393 yesterday, surged past resistance at $1.6, only to be dragged back down to $1.5. But approximately six hours before this write-up, we witnessed a dramatic price hike to $1.73, and it continued its ascent ever since.
This eye-popping surge coincided with Bitcoin breaching the $94.5k barrier, having previously plunged to $93k the day prior. As Bitcoin recovers, it seems it's given a helping hand to other digital assets, like Akash Network's AKT token, to witness their own surge.
It's interesting to note that AKT has been gradually climbing since the start of the week, climbing from $1.2 to $1.8 between April 28 and today.
Predicting the Future of AKT Price
The token's price rise in the last couple of days wasn't a steady, smooth progression, but rather a series of sharp upward pushes that were subsequently stopped by resistances before they made another push.
Its Bollinger Bands followed a similar pattern, widening significantly during the growth part of the cycle, and then shrinking as the price got resistance. At present, the bands are in a relatively narrow phase, possibly hinting that another surge could be on the horizon.

The project's Relative Strength Index (RSI) value has shown impressive performance. It shot up from an oversold zone on April 29 to a value of 80 early on April 30. It then slipped down to 50, only to bounce back up to just below 80 on the same day. After that, it dropped back into the oversold zone again, only to see a rapid increase to 72.68 in the early hours of May 1.
The RSI then oscillated between 65 and 70 for several hours, eventually descending toward the neutral value of 50 around the time of writing. If the pattern persists, the price is likely to go back up shortly.
