Android-based Google Account page undergoes Material 3 Expressive makeover

The latest updates on the Google Account page redesign, part of Material 3 Expressive, are now rolling out on Android devices. This significant visual overhaul, which came with version 25.25.33 of Google Play services, brings a more streamlined layout similar to the system Settings app.

The redesigned page consolidates all information into a list format for easier navigation. A large profile image, name, and email address are displayed at the top, which dock as you scroll down. A dropdown menu allows users to switch between accounts effortlessly.

Each menu item, such as Personal info, Security & sign-in, and Data & privacy, is presented in a card with rounded corners and colourful icons. Most main items fit on one screen, with a "Looking for something else?" option at the bottom for additional access to search and help options.

The redesigned page is available on Android 16 and 16 QPR1 devices, including Pixel and Samsung phones. This redesign is not limited to the Google Account page, as Material 3 Expressive is also being applied to other Google services such as Privacy dashboard, app permissions, Google Wallet, and Google Phone.

The main items on the redesigned page include "Personal info," "Security & sign-in," "Password Manager," "Your devices," "Data & privacy," "People & sharing," "Family group," "Payments & subscriptions," "Google One storage." The "Looking for something else?" option provides access to search and "See help options" and "Send feedback."
