Apple Unveils New iPad Air Powered by M3 Chip

Apple has unveiled the new iPad Air, powered by the latest M3 chip. Pre-orders commence today, with devices hitting the shelves on March 12. The iPad Air comes in two sizes, 11-inch and 13-inch, priced at $599 and $799 respectively. It boasts enhanced Siri, compatibility with Apple Pencils, and a new Magic Keyboard.

The iPad Air's standout feature is the M3 chip. It packs an 8-core CPU, a 9-core GPU, and supports dynamic caching, mesh shading, and ray tracing. This results in nearly twice the speed of the previous M1 model and up to 3.5 times faster performance than the iPad Air with A14 Bionic. The device also sees improvements in Siri, now with enhanced contextual awareness and integrated ChatGPT.

The iPad Air is compatible with Apple Pencil Pro and Apple Pencil (USB-C). Apple has also released a new Magic Keyboard, designed specifically for the new iPad Air. It offers a superior typing experience with a trackpad and is compatible with the 13-inch model. Priced at $269 for the 11-inch and $319 for the 13-inch, it's a premium accessory for the premium tablet.

The new iPad Air, powered by the M3 chip, promises significant performance improvements. With enhanced Siri, Apple Pencil compatibility, and a new Magic Keyboard, it's set to deliver a premium user experience.
