Apple's Music service unveils an updated Replay feature, showcasing the most-streamed tracks of the year 2022 in its chart rankings.
Apple Music has recently launched a redesigned Replay experience, offering users a personalized and engaging way to relive their music journey of 2022. The updated feature is available in all 169 countries and regions where Apple Music is accessible, and is localized in 39 languages.
In the redesigned Replay experience, users can discover their top songs, top albums, top artists, top genres, and more. This includes a highlight reel of their favorite tunes, providing a snapshot of their listening habits throughout the year.
The Top Songs chart is dominated by Hip-Hop, with 32 of the top 100 songs falling under this genre. "STAY" by The Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber takes the crown as the top song of 2022 on the Daily Top 100: Global. British DJ Joel Corry's "Head & Heart (feat. MNEK)" leads the Fitness Songs chart.
Apple Music's year-end charts also include the Most Read Lyrics, with "We Don't Talk About Bruno" from Disney's Encanto topping the list. The Shazam chart is headed by "Cold Heart (PNAU Remix)" by Elton John and Dua Lipa.
Superfans can uncover whether they are among the top 100 listeners of their favorite artist or genre in the redesigned Replay experience. The eligibility for this feature is based on a threshold of plays and time spent listening.
Users can log in with the same Apple ID used for Apple Music to access the redesigned Replay experience. Bad Bunny, Apple Music's 2022 Artist of the Year, has the biggest album of the year with Un Verano Sin Ti.
The redesigned Replay experience is optimized for sharing with family and friends, allowing users to compare their listening habits and share their top songs and albums. Once the new year begins, users can keep listening on Apple Music to explore and share new 2023 insights each week.
