AT Sensors Unveils MCS High-Power Laser for Tough Industrial 3D Sensing

AT Sensors has unveiled the MCS High-Power Laser, a next-generation 3D sensor designed to tackle harsh industrial environments. This novel modular sensor promises reliable, high-precision measurements at high speeds and across long working distances.

The MCS High-Power Laser boasts a maximum optical output of 2.5 watts, a significant seventeen-fold increase over standard versions. This enhanced power ensures stable scans even in extreme conditions, such as direct sunlight and reflective hot metals.

The sensor supports greater working distances and a wide scan width of up to 2.8 meters, making it ideal for large-scale measurement tasks like inspecting railway infrastructure and measuring road surfaces. The High-Power Laser is available in four wavelength variants (660, 450, 760, and 808 nm) and is fully modular for custom configurations, offering versatility for various industrial applications.

Developed by AT Sensor, the MCS High-Power Laser brings maximum laser power, large scan widths and working distances, and modular design to demanding industrial tasks. With its reliable, high-precision measurements at high speeds, this new sensor is set to revolutionize 3D sensing in harsh environments.
