ATPCO Expands Routehappy Retail Data, Transforming Flight Shopping in 2026

ATPCO is enhancing flight shopping with a significant expansion of Routehappy's retailing data. From 1 January 2026, all Community Participation airlines, including american airlines, southwest airlines, and united airlines, will gain full access to the suite, transforming how travelers shop for flights.

The full Routehappy suite includes Visuals, Attributes, the API, and new self-service tools. Routehappy Attributes, enabling airlines to publish accurate onboard service information, are already available. Starting next year, airlines can use Routehappy Visuals, Attributes, and API for merchandising.

Visuals greatly influence traveler behavior. 80% of travelers want to see their seat before booking, and 83% want to explore a virtual tour. By launch, consumers will see at least a 43 percent increase in visuals. ATPCO encourages airlines to prepare visuals now for wide global distribution.

ATPCO's expansion gives member airlines more control and flexibility, allowing them to connect with travelers during the flight shopping journey. With the increased use of visuals, airlines can provide a more engaging and informative shopping experience for travelers.
