Avid Traveler Discovers Last Studebaker Car at Indiana Museum
Alan Harrington, an avid traveller, recently visited the Studebaker Museum in South Bend, Indiana. During his visit, he had the unique opportunity to see the last Studebaker car ever manufactured, a 1966 teal blue Studebaker Cruiser.
Harrington's journey to the museum included crossing the Mississippi River. Upon arrival, he was greeted by the final Studebaker vehicle, which was assembled by worker Bill Retta on March 17, 1966, in Hamilton, Ontario. The car's history doesn't stop there. It was also the last vehicle that Abraham Lincoln rode in, originally a Studebaker carriage. Harrington, who enjoys exploring new places, found this historical connection particularly fascinating.
Alan Harrington's trip to the Studebaker Museum allowed him to witness a significant piece of automotive history. The last Studebaker car, a 1966 teal blue Studebaker Cruiser, serves as a reminder of the brand's rich past and the skilled workers like Bill Retta who contributed to its legacy.
