AWS and Noventiq team up with MoIAT to quicken the pace of industrial digital transformation
The Technology Platform 4.0 and the Industrial Technology Transformation Index (ITTI) were showcased during the "Make it in the Emirates" (MITE) forum by Noventiq and Amazon Web Services (AWS). This partnership aims to digitally transform over 20 manufacturers in the UAE, focusing on integrating advanced technologies to boost efficiency and innovation in the manufacturing sector.
Noventiq, an IT solutions provider, and AWS, a leading cloud services company, have joined forces to drive digital transformation in the UAE's manufacturing industry. The collaboration encompasses cloud enablement, smart manufacturing, data management, compliance, and security.
Through this partnership, manufacturers will benefit from enhanced operational efficiency, improved agility, and stronger regulatory compliance. The focus on cloud migration will enable scalable, secure, and compliant data operations, while smart manufacturing technologies will drive higher productivity and predictive operations.
A key aspect of the digital transformation drive is the adoption of AI-driven document management systems, which can automate document storage, indexing, and retrieval. This technology is designed to streamline document handling for manufacturing processes.
The strategy also emphasises compliance and security, addressing data sovereignty, security, and regulatory requirements in the UAE. Noventiq and AWS plan to deploy secure, hybrid platforms using AWS technologies like IoT SiteWise, Greengrass, and TwinMaker.
Innovation Platform Development is part of the strategy, with plans to create Industrial Innovation Sandboxes and a national marketplace for industrial solutions. This initiative aims to foster innovation and support the development of new technologies within the manufacturing sector.
The MoU also includes a strategy focused on Digital Maturity Enablement, conducting up to 50 comprehensive assessments over 24 months, leveraging AI/ML dashboards aligned with IR4 and ITTI standards. Furthermore, the strategy involves ITTI Localization Support, translating and adapting ITTI materials to Arabic for broader accessibility.
The partnership between Noventiq, AWS, and the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT) took place during the prestigious MITE forum, where video experiences demonstrating the journey for factories aiming to enroll in ITTI programs and achieve Lighthouse manufacturing facility recognition were showcased.
