As a Software Engineer at Clipboard Health, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, scalable code using technologies like Node/NestJS, React, TypeScript, MongoDB, Postgres, and Redis. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to build features that matter, ensuring the platform remains reliable around the clock.

Clipboard Health primarily uses TypeScript and React for front-end development, and Node.js with NestJS on the back end. Their deployment and infrastructure leverage Amazon Web Services (AWS), including ECS (Elastic Container Service) and infrastructure automation with Terraform. The company follows modern development practices like trunk-based development, automated regression testing, and a full software development lifecycle from problem definition to production support.
The Role
In this role, you will need a strong understanding of service-specific integration testing, E2E testing, and selective unit tests. You should be comfortable balancing immediate customer needs with robust long-term architecture planning. Familiarity with AWS (ECS, Terraform) and best practices for deploying cloud-based applications is essential.
You will own the full software development lifecycle, from problem definition and design through to development, testing, demoing, and supporting production code. Excellent communication skills, including clear writing, providing concise PR feedback, and thorough documentation, are a must.
