Brace yourself, M3GAN fans! While we've got a whole year to prepare ourselves, Blumhouse has already kicked off the production of M3GAN 2.0. Mark your calendars for the chilling encounter on June 27, 2025. As production started this week, we were treated to a sneak peek of what lies beneath the sinister M3GAN animatronic.
Or so we hope it is. In the event this thing starts scurrying around yelling "let's play," it's going to be a hundred times scarier than anything we see in the movie itself. Here's a glimpse of the M3GAN 2.0 skeleton, courtesy of Blumhouse.

Now, moving away from nightmarish imagery, Hollywood news outlet Deadline reports some exciting new additions to the cast. For M3GAN 2.0, we've got comedy regular Timm Sharp hopping on board, known for his stints on Undeclared to It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. We've also got Aristotle Athari, who was on Saturday Night Live from 2021 to 2022, and everybody's beloved Jemaine Clement. You might recognize Jemaine from Flight of the Conchords, What We Do in the Shadows, and Moana.
They join the ensemble that includes original stars Allison Williams, Violet McGraw, and Jenna Davis. It's also worth mentioning that Ivanna Sakhno, known for her role as Shin Hati in Ahsoka, has recently been announced as a new cast member.
When we last saw M3GAN, her corporeal form might have been destroyed, but her consciousness had somehow managed to infiltrate the family's smart home device. Exactly how she'll resurface and the chaos she'll cause remains unclear. We'll find out next summer.
