Biometrics Crosses Border Barriers, Demonstrating International Influence through Our Site

In the ever-evolving digital landscape, our website has been a pioneer in promoting the significance of Trusted Identification for the Digital Economy. Over the past year, we have participated in 18 international events spanning 5 continents, showcasing the real-world applications of biometric technologies.

The BioCon series, a flagship event in our calendar, made its debut in Malaysia and Brazil, addressing issues such as criminal identification, school roll calls, and football stadium fraud prevention. The series in Brazil also emphasised the importance of real-world applications, underscoring our commitment to practical solutions.

Our first Masterclass was organised in India, and we expanded our reach further with events in Brazil, Malaysia, and even Miami, Florida. These Masterclasses, sponsored by our website, aimed to educate and inspire, fostering a deeper understanding of biometric technologies and their potential.

Our Founder and CEO, Jan Lunter, was a keynote speaker at the ID4Africa event in Kenya, where he shared insights on the universal principles of biometric technology and the importance of in-house R&D. He also used case studies to emphasise the value of extensive experience and knowledge from diverse tech domains in overcoming local challenges.

The ID4Africa event in Kenya was not our only international foray. We have also been actively involved in biometric events worldwide, including national and international forums such as those held by leading biomedical informatics and biometrics societies in Germany. A joint annual meeting is planned for September 2024 in Dresden with key German associations like GMDS, DGSMP, DGEpi, DGMS, and DGPH.

As we look to the future, expect more of our innovations at a biometric event near you. We are committed to global collaboration and will continue to drive the conversation around Trusted Identification for the Digital Economy, shaping a safer and more secure digital world for all.
