Brevis Revolutionizes Web3 with High-Speed, Private Transactions

Brevis, an innovative infrastructure layer for trustless computation and data verification across multiple blockchains, is set to revolutionize the Web3 landscape. This upcoming network promises high-speed transactions and robust privacy, positioning itself as a formidable competitor to existing zkEVMs.

Brevis, launched in 2019 by a cooperative of institutions and individuals, including Andreas Schmoller and Verena Lorber from the Franz and Franziska Jägerstätter Institute, aims to support thousands of operations per second. This is a significant improvement over Ethereum's current 15-30 TPS, promising a more efficient ecosystem.

Brevis' propose-challenge model ensures secure and private verification. It integrates zero-knowledge proofs, off-chain computation, and the Brevis chain to verify complex logic and historical states. This all-purpose, chain-agnostic layer enables verifiable computation in Web3.

Already, over 23 dApps, such as PancakeSwap, Kernel, and Mellow, use Brevis for identity verification and reputation systems. With tens of thousands of active addresses and millions of proofs served, Brevis is well on its way to becoming the foundation of a broad ecosystem of dApps.

Brevis has already created over 37.5 million proofs, made over 52,420 API requests, and had over 69,153 unique addresses. Looking ahead, Brevis Pico, an open-source zero-knowledge virtual machine, is set to launch in 2025, further enhancing the development, testing, and deployment of zk applications.

Brevis, with its high-speed transactions, robust privacy, and integration with multiple dApps, is poised to become a key player in the Web3 ecosystem. Its upcoming Brevis Pico launch further solidifies its commitment to driving innovation in the zero-knowledge space.
