During this event, players can collect seedlings for the Party Popper 2025 Decor Pikmin, as well as a few select Flower Card Decor Pikmin. The specific rewards for completing Event Challenge missions include a variety of Gold Seedlings that grow into special Decor Pikmin themed around the event, such as Lunar New Year Ornament Pikmin, as well as unique Mii parts and themed collectibles.
For example, early missions reward Gold Seedlings that grow into Lunar New Year Ornament Pikmin, while milestone missions unlock special Mii parts like the "Small perching panda" and "Plum blossom hairpin (White)." Later missions provide Gold Seedlings for Red, Yellow, Blue, Purple, White, Winged, Rock Pikmin, along with additional special Mii parts and themed collectibles.
These rewards are distributed across multiple missions, with mission-specific currency goals tied to each reward. Users can obtain rewards at random by completing Event Challenge missions, including Festive Fireworks, seedlings for Party Popper 2025 Decor Pikmin, flower petals, and other items.
Two new card designs are introduced in the event, adding to the collection of 12 different Flower Cards for Pikmin that Gold Seedlings can grow into. However, it's important to note that users are not guaranteed to complete the whole set of Flower Cards.
The event runs from Jan. 1, 12:00 a.m. local time to Jan. 31, 11:59 p.m. local time. At the start of the event, users receive missions to collect Festive Fireworks, which have no purpose outside of this event and will disappear when the event ends.
To participate, users can download the Pikmin Bloom app for free on their smart devices. A persistent internet and compatible smartphone are required to play Pikmin Bloom. Data charges may apply while playing the game. The event is free to start, but optional in-game purchases are available.
