Chelsea Truck Co. & Kahn Design Unveil Defender 90 Concept 001
Chelsea Truck Co. (CTC) and Kahn Design have joined forces to unveil the Defender 90 Concept 001, a prototype showcasing their collaborative design modifications for the iconic Land Rover Defender.
The Concept 001 is the brainchild of Kahn Design, as evident from the collaboration name. The interior boasts hand-finished black leather upholstery with Britannia blue piping, an exclusive Kahn Design Concept Identity Badge, and colour-matched side vents adorned with CTC Plaques and Kahn bonnet lettering.
Externally, the vehicle sports Kahn's newly announced 20-inch Hammerhead RS-Forged wheels paired with chunky 33-inch all-terrain tyres. It also features restyled headlights, a Kahn-branded rigid spare wheel cover, and a lightweight, vented bonnet in deep gloss black.
The exterior conversion, as seen on the Concept 001, is available for special order through Kahn Design for Defender 90 and 110 models at £25,000 (NZ$56,785), inclusive of sales tax, professional fitting, and bespoke paint finishing. The vehicle is finished in Kahn's signature Volcanic Rock Satin paint with 3D Military-Textured accents, complemented by Chelsea Truck Company's extra-wide over-fenders and carbon fibre rear diffuser spats, with a 3D-textured protective paint finish on the lower body.
The Defender 90 Concept 001 serves as a preview of bespoke upgrades planned for future limited-run models, offering enthusiasts a glimpse into the exciting possibilities that lie ahead for the beloved Defender.
