Chyron Unveils New PAINT and Virtual Placement for Enhanced Sports Coverage

Chyron, a leading provider of graphics solutions for the broadcast industry, has unveiled the latest versions of its PAINT and Virtual Placement software. PAINT 9.8 and Virtual Placement 7.6 bring a host of new features and enhancements designed to streamline workflows and enhance sports news coverage.

PAINT 9.8 introduces intuitive tools for quick customization of illustrations to match team branding. It also enables easy assembly of highlight packages and replays on the fly. Additionally, it includes a standalone playlist management toolset, allowing for up to nine playlists. This new version empowers sports news broadcasters to drive high-end replay playout and telestration from a single system. New analysis tools, such as a pass counter and line distance calculator, have been introduced to aid in sports analysis.

Virtual Placement 7.6, on the other hand, enhances optical tracking and calibration, particularly for American football coverage. It offers greater precision, even in challenging field conditions. Both software updates maintain simple telestration operations with live and editable clip assets, and offer an enhanced built-in graphics package with modern graphic assets.

Chyron's updates to PAINT and Virtual Placement demonstrate the company's commitment to improving the sports news broadcasting experience. These new features and enhancements aim to increase efficiency, accuracy, and creativity in sports news coverage.
