Da-Lite's Parallax Thin Screen Undergoes Revamped Design

Innovative Da-Lite Screen Advancements Grace the AV Sector

Da-Lite, under the Legrand | AV umbrella, has revamped its popular Parallax Thin screen to cater to the struggles faced by the AV industry - large, costly, assembled-on-site screens. This revamped solution, sporting wider sizes and a smaller shipping footprint, brings logistics and cost efficiency to the forefront.

Designed specifically for ultrashort throw (UST) projectors, the 1/2-inch-thin bezel fixed frame screen boasts the new Ambient Light Rejection (ALR) screen surface-Parallax Pure UST 0.6. Available in 16:9 HDTV and 21:9 ultrawide formats, it seamlessly slots into Da-Lite's existing 21:9 offerings, ideal for larger spaces suited for Microsoft Teams Front Row setups or collaboration areas demanding ambient light control.

Insights

The latest trends in UST projector technology feature enhanced resolution and brightness, compact designs, integration with smart platforms, and budget-friendly options [1][3]. The Da-Lite Parallax Thin screen capitalizes on the ALR technology, ensuring a quality viewing experience, even in bright environments.

As for the Parallax Pure UST 0.6 screen surface, each layer plays a pivotal role in maintaining image quality in high ambient light environments. The ALR technology uses a micro layered optical lens system that rejects light, with perks like preserving high-contrast, bright images in even the sunniest of spaces [2]. This technological marvel mimics the look of a TV while avoiding glare from windows or lighting fixtures.
