Danner & Snow Peak Team Up Again for Limited-Edition Light II Hiking Boot
Danner, the iconic American bootmaker, has teamed up with Japanese outdoor brand Snow Peak to release a limited-edition version of the classic Light II hiking boot. Priced at $450, the Snow Peak x Danner Light II is now available on Snow Peak's website.
Founded in 1932, Danner introduced the Light hiking boot in 1979, which has since become a staple in outdoor footwear. The latest collaboration, the Snow Peak x Danner Light II, features a 1,000D nylon upper surrounded by nubuck leather, providing both durability and comfort. The boot is lined with GORE-TEX, ensuring water resistance and breathability, while the Vibram Megagrip outsole offers excellent traction on various terrains.
Standing at 6 inches tall and weighing 61 ounces, the boot is built to withstand rugged outdoor use. A special fire-resistant full-grain cowhide leather has been used to enhance protection and performance. This is not the first time Danner and Snow Peak have collaborated, having previously worked together on the Trail Field Pro boot.
