Deepgram Teams Up With AWS to Boost Voice AI Adoption
Voice AI specialist Deepgram has joined forces with tech giant AWS to boost voice AI adoption. The multi-year agreement will see the two companies collaborate on developing and deploying advanced voice applications.
Deepgram, already an AWS Partner Network member, offers speech-to-text (STT), text-to-speech (TTS), and speech-to-speech (STS) capabilities on AWS infrastructure. The new deal will see Deepgram's STT API integrated into Amazon Connect, enhancing real-time transcription and voice automation in contact centers.
The collaboration will also focus on developing generative AI-enabled capabilities on AWS. Deepgram plans to deliver new case studies and proofs of concept for enterprise customers, demonstrating the potential of voice AI in various industries. While no specific companies are currently listed as using Deepgram's Voice Agent API, the platform's flexibility and efficiency have already attracted customers like Wistia, a video hosting and analytics platform.
Through this strategic collaboration, Deepgram aims to expand its co-selling and go-to-market efforts with AWS. Enterprises can now build scalable, high-accuracy voice applications, leveraging Deepgram's advanced AI capabilities and AWS's extensive infrastructure. The agreement also paves the way for Deepgram to expand its availability through services like Amazon SageMaker and Amazon Bedrock, further cementing its position as a leading voice AI provider.
