Disney+ Hotstar Enhances Production Workflows with PFT's CLEAR Production Cloud
Disney+ Hotstar, the popular streaming platform, has signed a multi-year deal with Prime Focus Technologies (PFT) for CLEAR Production Cloud. This move aims to enhance secure and collaborative production workflows for Disney+ Hotstar's Originals content.
Akash Saxena, Head of Technology at Disney+ Hotstar, highlighted the importance of cloud-based workflows and virtual collaboration, especially in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. PFT's CLEAR software, bolstered by industry-leading security measures like 256-bit encryption and Okta SSO, will manage production workflows for Disney+ Hotstar from pre-production to post-production. The CLEAR Production Cloud offers features such as mobile support, a virtual playlist editor, an elastic search engine, and a next-gen HTML5 Player, ensuring a seamless and efficient workflow.
PFT in India has taken over the CLEAR production cloud for Disney+ Hotstar through this multi-year contract, further strengthening their partnership.
