Dubai Hosts Expand North Star 2025: World's Largest Startup-Investor Gathering

Dubai is set to host the 10th edition of Expand North Star, the world's largest startup-investor gathering, from October 12 to 15 at Dubai Harbour. The event, organized by Dubai World Trade Centre and hosted by Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, aims to boost Dubai's position in the global digital economy.

Expand North Star aligns with Dubai's Economic Agenda (D33), aiming to place Dubai among the top digital economies globally. Saeed Al Gergawi, Vice President of Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, described the event as a 'strategic gateway' for startups to scale globally.

The four-day exhibition is expected to attract thousands of investors, entrepreneurs, and innovators. Since 2016, Expand North Star has facilitated major investments and partnerships for startups, with notable success stories including Moove, Obo, Freshcraft Technologies, and Zaara Biotech, which raised significant investments and expanded internationally. Early-stage ventures like ShopDoc and Machbee Innovations have also secured funding through the event.

The 10th edition of Expand North Star in Dubai is poised to continue this trend, providing a platform for startups to connect with investors and scale their businesses. The event's impact on Dubai's digital economy is expected to be significant, further cementing the city's position as a global hub for innovation and technology.
