Dubai welcomes a fresh flight crew training center from Emirates
In a significant move for the aviation industry, Emirates has opened a new pilot training center in Dubai. The state-of-the-art facility, spanning 5900 square meters and costing approximately €114 million, is set to address the growing demand for pilot training.
Located in Dubai, the training center is operated by Emirates and houses six simulator bays. Initially, two Airbus A350 simulators have been installed, increasing the annual pilot training capacity to 130,000 hours. This represents a 54% increase in capacity, a testament to Emirates' commitment to investing in the latest training facilities.
The new training center is designed to provide pilots with realistic and immersive training experiences. With these advanced simulators, Emirates aims to maintain its high safety standards and operational efficiency.
Four additional simulators for Boeing 777X aircraft are planned to be added to the training center later, further expanding its capacity and capabilities.
Despite the absence of information about the person responsible for organising the opening of the new training center, it is clear that this investment is part of Emirates' ongoing commitment to the aviation industry. The new training center is expected to contribute significantly to meeting the industry's pilot training needs.
