Dyson announces third beauty product release this month - essential details revealed
Dyson has unveiled its latest haircare offering, the Omega Nourishing range. This new collection, which consists of a Hydrating Hair Oil and an 8-in-1 Leave-In Conditioning Spray, is designed to nourish, strengthen, and protect hair using a proprietary blend of seven omega-rich oils.
The Omega Nourishing range is set to hit shelves on the 27th of August. This new line, Dyson's second haircare offering following the Chitosan range, is designed to work across all hair types, boosting softness, shine, and moisture.
The star ingredient in the Omega Nourishing range is sunflower oil, sourced from Dyson's own Lincolnshire farms. Dyson has spent a decade researching hair and cultivating sunflower varieties specifically for their hair benefits, based on detailed soil and nutrient testing to optimize the oils’ protective and nourishing properties.
The 8-in-1 Leave-In Conditioning Spray offers a host of benefits. It nourishes hair immediately while strengthening it over time, making hair up to 94% stronger. It reduces breakage by sealing the cuticle—up to 73% less breakage. The spray also controls frizz for maximum shine and smoothness.
In addition, the leave-in spray provides multi-protection against heat damage (up to 450°F), UV rays, humidity, and breakage. It detangles hair and improves combability. The lightweight formula makes it suitable for use on both wet and dry hair.
The spray contains Dyson’s Oli7™ blend—a unique mix of seven omega-rich oils, primarily sunflower seed oil rich in omega-6 and omega-9 fatty acids, known to moisturize deeply, smooth the hair cuticle, and reduce frizz. The fragrance features fresh citrus, floral, musk, and cedarwood notes for a multi-sensory experience.
The Hydrating Hair Oil, on the other hand, is a concentrated but lightweight and silicone-free formula. It nourishes, smooths, and seals moisture for softer, more manageable hair. The oil absorbs quickly without building up and protects from heat and mechanical damage with antioxidant-rich ingredients. It boosts shine and moisture retention.
The hydrating oil comes in a sculpted, heavyweight glass bottle and is recommended for application on damp or dry hair, focusing on the mid-lengths and ends.
The Omega Nourishing range is priced competitively. The 8-in-1 Leave-In Conditioning Spray retails for £59.99, with a refill price of £49.99. The Hydrating Hair Oil is priced at £45.99.
US pricing for the Omega Nourishing range is yet to be announced. However, the range's packaging is refillable and premium, making it a sustainable choice for those looking to reduce their environmental impact.
The Omega Nourishing range will be available for purchase on Dyson's website starting from the 27th of August. With its focus on nourishment, strength, and protection, this new range promises to tackle dry, frizzy, and fragile hair, delivering multi-dimensional protection and hydration through sustainably sourced natural oils engineered for enhanced hair strength, smoothness, and shine.
