ClearBlade, a leading provider of IoT and Edge software solutions, has announced the release of a new Anomaly Detection Component for its Intelligent Assets platform. This latest feature is set to extend the functionality of the platform, bridging the gap between advanced IoT technologies and operators in the field.

The Anomaly Detection Component allows end-users to take immediate action based on AI-generated anomaly detection. For Intelligent Assets customers, enabling AI-powered anomaly detection is now as straightforward as setting up gauges and alerts.

Intelligent Assets is a digital twin connected to real-time asset data via ClearBlade's IoT and Edge software. The new component uses AI to detect unusual patterns in asset data based on selected attributes. Within Intelligent Assets, a simple score is displayed in the form of a gauge widget to inform the end user of the anomaly.

Aaron Allsbrook, co-founder and Chief Technology Officer at ClearBlade, expressed his excitement about the new feature, stating, "One of the biggest barriers to IoT success is making data easy for end-users to act on." He further praised the ClearBlade team for this new capability, adding, "I am thrilled to see our team's hard work come to life in this innovative component."

Allsbrook also mentioned that the components in Intelligent Assets function as plug-ins that can be added on the fly. He commented on the creative use cases that customers and partners will develop with this new feature, citing an example of the Anomaly Detection Component's usage with farm water pumps. By using flow rate and pressure data feeds, the component generates a model that detects anomalies, helping farmers to address issues promptly and efficiently.

Manu Amparthi, the founder and Chief Technology Officer of ClearBlade, is the mastermind behind the release of the new anomaly detection components in Intelligent Assets. This latest addition is set to enhance a company's ability to use AI based on asset data, further cementing ClearBlade's position as a pioneer in the IoT and Edge software industry.
