Ericsson Unveils Advanced 5G Network Solutions

Ericsson, a global leader in telecommunications, has unveiled a suite of advanced features and services to bolster network management, migration, and scalability. The company's offerings include a comprehensive 5G core portfolio, centered on its dual-mode 5G Core solution, which powers 46 of the world's 80 commercially live 5G SA networks.

Ericsson's cloud-native Dual-Mode 5G Core solution is currently being implemented by Vodafone Three across the UK. This nationwide rollout aims to enable differentiated connectivity and 5G-Advanced capabilities, ultimately aiming for 99.95% 5G SA population coverage by 2034.

In addition to its 5G solutions, Ericsson offers core network services as a true software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform in partnership with Google Cloud. This service provides communication service providers (CSPs) with a flexible and scalable solution.

Ericsson's commitment to innovation is reflected in its recent accolades. The company has been named a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for CSP 5G Core Network Infrastructure Solutions and has been recognized as a forefront leader in Frost & Sullivan's 'Frost Radar: 5G Network Infrastructure, 2025' report for the fifth consecutive year.

Ericsson's Compact Packet Core enables easy modernization of a CSP's Packet Core to cloud native, supporting a wide range of private and public cloud providers. With over 70 live cloud-native core deployments serving 4G and 5G connectivity across 180 countries, Ericsson prioritizes performance, reliability, security, and streamlined operation and management of core network infrastructure.
