Major Sports Broadcasters ESPN and Fox will jointly offer their upcoming streaming services for a monthly fee of $39.99.

ESPN and Fox will partner to offer their upcoming streaming services as a bundle priced at $39.99 per month.

Disney's ESPN and Fox Corporation have announced a partnership to offer their upcoming direct-to-consumer (DTC) streaming services as a bundle, launching on October 2, 2025. Priced at $39.99 per month, this joint subscription offers a cost-effective solution for sports fans seeking comprehensive access to live events and studio content without cable.

The ESPN streaming service, named after the TV network, includes all of ESPN’s live channels such as ESPN, ESPN2, and ESPN on ABC. It also offers premium networks like ESPN+, SEC Network+, and ACC Network Extra. With this bundle, subscribers can look forward to coverage of major sports leagues and events, including the NFL, NBA, WNBA, MLB, NHL, college football and basketball, NASCAR, INDYCAR, UFC, and the upcoming FIFA World Cup.

The bundle promises roughly 47,000 live events yearly, including replays, original programming, and studio shows. Additionally, plans are underway to add WWE Premium Live Events next year and the recently agreed acquisition of NFL Network, expected to be included at no extra cost once finalized.

Fox One, Fox’s streaming service, will complement the offering with its sports channels like FS1 and FS2, as well as Fox local stations and other Fox brands’ content. Both services will cover the same major sports leagues and events.

This collaboration is part of Fox's strategy to deliver the best possible value and viewing experience to customers, as stated by Tony Billetter, Senior Vice President of Strategy and Business Development for FOX's direct-to-consumer segment.

Meanwhile, Disney and Fox have abandoned their efforts to launch Venu, a joint sports streaming venture with Warner Bros. Discovery. In addition, ESPN has secured the U.S. rights to WWE's biggest live events, including WrestleMania, the Royal Rumble, and SummerSlam, beginning in 2026.

In a separate development, Trump has extended the deadline for China tariffs by another 90 days. However, this extension does not mean that tariffs will be cancelled, but rather that their implementation will be postponed.

Lastly, it's worth mentioning that the Disney bundle, which includes ESPN's streaming service, Disney+, and Hulu, is available for $35.99 a month. The first 12 months of the Disney bundle will cost a discounted $29.99 a month. Fox CEO Lachlan Murdoch and Disney CEO Bob Iger have also discussed potential bundling options with other streaming services.

As we approach the launch date, sports fans can look forward to a streamlined and cost-effective solution for their entertainment needs.
