Flutterwave's App has been re-introduced in the United States, featuring enhanced money transfer options to Africa.

In a significant move, African payments technology company Flutterwave has relaunched its remittance solution, Send App, across multiple US states. This expansion follows the acquisition of new Money Transmitter Licenses (MTLs), strengthening Flutterwave's services in Ghana and other key African markets.

The relaunched Send App now supports outward remittances in 34 US states and territories, including Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Delaware, Idaho, and many more. This extended reach allows users in these regions to send money directly to countries like Nigeria, Ghana, Egypt, and Cameroon, significantly boosting remittance corridors between the US and key African markets.

One of the key enhancements of the relaunched Send App is the streamlined onboarding process for new users. The onboarding process now includes a quick ID check, making it easier and more efficient for users to get started.

Another notable feature is the optimized support for US-issued Visa and Discover cards, ensuring a seamless transaction experience for users. Enhanced security measures have also been implemented to safeguard transactions and maintain compliance.

Olugbenga "GB" Agboola, Flutterwave's Founder and CEO, commented on the relaunch, stating, "The expansion of Send App's reach and enhanced services empowers millions of Africans in the US to maintain strong financial ties with their home countries, support their families, and contribute to economic development across the continent."

Agboola also reaffirmed Flutterwave's commitment to bridging Africa with the global economy and vice versa, saying, "The relaunch of Send App reaffirms our commitment to delivering a seamless, secure, and regulatory-compliant user experience for all customers in the US."

Earlier this year, Swap was integrated into Send App for seamless FX transactions. The relaunch of Send App reaffirms Flutterwave's dedication to continuous improvement and innovation, aiming to provide the best possible service to its users.

This expansion marks a significant step forward for Flutterwave, demonstrating its commitment to making cross-border payments easier, more efficient, and more accessible for users across the globe.

The relaunched Send App now offers compliance with regulatory requirements in the finance sector, ensuring secure transactions for users in the US. The optimized support for US-issued Visa and Discover cards, coupled with the enhanced security measures, underscores Flutterwave's dedication to technology-driven innovation in financial remittances.
