Flynas Makes History With Record Airbus A320 Delivery
Saudi airline Flynas has made aviation history by receiving an Airbus A320, breaking the record for the most delivered aircraft of the Airbus A320 family in civil aviation. This milestone was reached on October 6, 2022.
The Airbus A320 family has emerged as the best-selling aircraft in civil aviation history, surpassing the Boeing 737 in total deliveries. As of October 6, 2022, an impressive 12,260 Airbus A320s have been delivered since the aircraft first took to the skies in 1988.
Airbus is celebrating this achievement while also expanding its production in the US and China. However, the manufacturer has not yet commented on this significant record-breaking delivery to Flynas.
Both Airbus and Boeing are expected to hold off on developing new models in the narrow-body aircraft segment for the time being. They are waiting for advancements in engine technology before introducing new designs to the market.
