Frasers Hospitality Launches AI-Based Training System in Six Weeks
Frasers Hospitality, a global leader in the hospitality sector, has developed an innovative AI-based training system in collaboration with Sabre Hospitality. The system, created with Google Cloud and Kyndryl, uses the Gemini API and Vertex AI, and took just six weeks from inception to launch.
Frasers faced challenges maintaining a consistent guest experience across nearly 40 cities due to rapid expansion. The new AI system analyzes training videos and generates standardized operational processes and learning module documents. This not only ensures every team member is aligned from day one but also cuts months off onboarding timelines.
The platform uses the Translation API to provide consistent training across different locations and languages. Frasers is now expanding this system across Southeast Asia and exploring new applications, such as converting text-based SOPs into engaging motion graphics with voiceovers. Ian Loe, managing director of group digital and technology at Frasers Property, credits the success to Google Cloud's user-friendly software components and the Gemini 2.5 Flash model.
Frasers Hospitality's AI-powered training system is a testament to the potential of AI in streamlining operations and ensuring consistency across global teams. The company's success serves as a blueprint for CHROs looking to address global scale challenges in workforce development, demonstrating the benefits of embracing multimodal delivery and partnering with experts to fast-track AI adoption.
