GCCA Launches Net Zero Value Chain Partners to Accelerate Industry Decarbonization
The Global Cement and Concrete Association (GCCA) has launched a new membership category, the Net Zero Value Chain Partners (NZVCP), to expand its reach and accelerate net zero ambitions in the building and construction industry. The initiative, open to various organizations in the value chain, has already welcomed several founding members.
The NZVCP aims to foster collaboration across the industry, with founding members including CDE, KHD, Master Builders Solutions, Saint-Gobain, Schneider Electric, and Sinoma International. These companies, along with future members, will work directly with GCCA's 50 member producers to advance innovation and share expertise.
The new membership category is open to equipment suppliers, admixture companies, industrial infrastructure providers for carbon capture, utilization, and storage, and other solution developers. By joining, these organizations commit to participating in GCCA programs and events, strengthening the association's impact on decarbonization efforts.
The GCCA's Net Zero Value Chain Partners initiative marks a significant step in expanding the association's influence beyond cement and concrete producers. With the first six members on board, the NZVCP is poised to drive innovation and collaboration, ultimately helping the building and construction industry achieve its net zero goals.
