Geely Auto Unveils Plans for AI Evolution at 2025 World AI Conference

At the recently concluded 2025 World AI Conference, Geely Auto's Vice President, Li Chuanhai, announced the automaker's ambitious plans to revolutionize Artificial Intelligence (AI). The goal is to transform AI from a task-executing tool into an intelligent assistant capable of handling complex matters.

In a video released today, Li outlined Geely's strategy to achieve this goal. The focus is on developing a "fast interaction and deep thinking" architecture that will enable every Geely vehicle to act as a physical connection point linking users to a broader AI universe.

This transformation will be facilitated by advanced AI technologies such as end-to-end learning, Vehicle Learning Architecture (VLA), and world models. These technologies will be integrated into systems like the Qianli Haohan intelligent driver-assistance system.

Future plans include the development of a new L3-oriented technical architecture, cloud-based foundational large models, and in-vehicle adversarial safety models. These advancements aim to allow AI to train and verify itself, enhancing intelligent and safe mobility experiences.

Li also emphasized Geely's commitment to guiding AI to become a powerful tool for human progress. The company aims to become China's largest robotics company, a move that could position it as a global leader in the field.

Innovations such as the Agent OS, a smart cockpit operating system enabling human-like, emotionally adaptive voice interactions inside vehicles, are evidence of Geely's push toward embodied intelligence in automotive design. Collaborations with AI firms like StepFun have been instrumental in these developments.

Geely Auto (HKG: 0175) is already recognised as the fastest company to achieve the transition from traditional automobiles to embodied intelligence. The company's full-domain AI technology system covers vehicle architecture, powertrain, chassis, cockpit, R&D, manufacturing, and services, setting it apart from other automakers.

With these ambitious plans, Geely is poised to redefine the future of AI in the automotive industry, making every Geely vehicle a physical connection point to the AI universe.
