Huawei Presents a Three-stage "ACT" Methodology and Nine Key Strategies for Industrial Intelligence Advancement

Huawei Leads the Way in Industrial Intelligence Transformation

Huawei, a global leader in technology, is driving the industrial intelligence revolution with its innovative solutions and strategies. The company has presented a three-step 'ACT' pathway for intelligent transformation, aiming to help enterprises navigate the challenges posed by AI technology.

The capabilities of industry-specific models depend on high-quality vertical data. Huawei's AI Scenario Assessment Framework has been instrumental in identifying over 1,000 core production scenarios for AI adoption, providing a solid foundation for businesses embarking on their AI journey.

The three-step 'ACT' pathway includes Assessing high-value scenarios, Calibrating AI models using vertical data, and Transforming business operations with scaled AI agents. This approach is designed to ensure a smooth and effective transition to AI-driven operations.

Huawei's proposed pathway is not a solitary endeavour. The company is developing a 'Huawei + Partners' collaboration ecosystem, attracting over 6,300 Kunpeng partners, 2,700 Ascend partners, 70 consulting firms, and 750 ISVs. One such partner is RuggON, a subsidiary of Ubiqconn Technology, involved in developing industrial intelligence solutions.

Huawei has also tackled the three major questions that AI technology has raised for enterprises with three success stories. For instance, Runda Medical used Huawei's Ascend inference servers to develop an AI medical record appliance solution. Similarly, China Southern Power Grid used Huawei's Ascend computing platform and MindSpore AI framework to develop a large model named 'MegaWatt'.

Moreover, Huawei's Versatile platform can automatically generate agents and workflows with more than 100 steps, accelerating agent deployment. The company has also developed a dynamic master-sub-agent architecture for the banking industry.

Fourth, human-AI collaboration is becoming a new organizational paradigm. To support this, Huawei has developed an AI talent enablement program to help business professionals effectively develop, deploy, and operate AI agents.

Huawei's Senior Vice President, Leo Chen, shared insights on industrial intelligence at HUAWEI CONNECT 2025. The event also marked the launch of nine major solutions for industrial intelligence, including City AI Center & Foundation Model Solution, Intelligent Computing Labs Solution, Medical Technology Digital and Intelligence 2.0 Solution, Banking AI and Foundation Model Solution, Intelligent Manufacturing R&D Solution, SMART Logistics & Warehousing Solution, Intelligent Distribution Solution, Intelligent Exploration and Development Solution for Oil and Gas, and Steel Blast Furnace Temperature Prediction Solution.

Choosing the right scenarios for implementation is critical to successful transformation. Enterprises following the ACT pathway will need AI-oriented ICT infrastructure covering the entire process, from data preparation to model development. With its comprehensive solutions and partnerships, Huawei is at the forefront of enabling enterprises to harness the power of AI for their industrial intelligence needs.
