Illegally Imported Toyota Estima Seized, Now Used in Russian Military Operation
A Toyota Estima car, illegally imported from Abkhazia into Russia, has been seized by the Krasnodar customs office and is now in use by the Russian National Guard in a special military operation. The car, valued at 9 million rubles, was found to contain smuggled gold in a power bank.
The Toyota Estima, registered in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia, was intercepted after failing to meet the specified export timeframe. Similar vehicles are commonly used on the front lines for supply and evacuation tasks. During a joint raid by customs and traffic police officers in Blagoveshchensk, a foreigner attempted to smuggle gold worth 9 million rubles hidden in a power bank. The car was subsequently seized and handed over to the Russian Ministry of Defense for use in the ongoing special military operation.
The illegally imported Toyota Estima car, along with the smuggled gold, has been confiscated and is now being utilised by the Russian National Guard and Ministry of Defense in their special military operation.
