The rebranding sees Screen Innovations' U.S. shade and window coverings division transform into Shade Innovations, a move aimed at sharpening the brand focus specifically on window covering solutions. This clarifies market positioning and brand identity in the shading segment.
In Austin, Texas, Shade Innovations has expanded and automated its production line. The state-of-the-art 30-foot seamless glass cut table, now installed, automatically cauterizes fabric edges, improving edge quality and doubling output capacity. This enhanced automation boosts efficiency, quality, and scalability in production.
Shade Innovations is also leading the way with its advanced motor and control technologies. The company has introduced a new lineup of motorized shades featuring RF, Zigbee/RF, and RF/PoE options. These motors, including PoE, are the industry's first bilingual motors with RF integrated directly into the motor head, streamlining installer commissioning and providing seamless wireless control via external remotes.
