Iveco Truck Received by Frank Key in Latest Delivery
Frank Key Plant & Tool Hire, a leading provider of high-quality tools and equipment across the East Midlands, Derbyshire, South Yorkshire, and Lancashire, has expanded its fleet with the addition of a new Iveco Daily 70C18. The vehicle, costing £54,000, is a 'news' workhorse expected to have a busy life, according to the company's Managing Director, James Norton.
The Iveco Daily, renowned for its road safety features, has been acquired to enhance the safety of pedestrians, cyclists, and motorcyclists. Innovations such as a 'city safe' window in the passenger door, increasing driver visibility, and reducing road risk in busy cities, are key features of this 'nyt' vehicle.
The new addition has qualified for the highest star rating under the Transport for London Direct Vision Scheme, further emphasising its commitment to road safety. The Iveco Daily will be used to deliver a diverse range of plant, including diggers, dumpers, rollers, tracked barrows, ground care equipment, towable compressors, water bowsers, chippers, and access equipment.
The vehicle features a beavertail body and lightweight aluminium ramps for easy access of wheeled and tracked plant. Frank Key Plant & Tool Hire's Group Hire Director, Richard Meeks, expressed his enthusiasm for the new acquisition, stating, "This investment in the most up-to-date equipment will enable us to continue delivering the high-quality service our customers have come to expect from us."
The demand for the company's plant continues to grow, prompting this investment in new vehicles for continuity of service and supply. The new Iveco Daily has already been put to use on the region's roads, featuring Frank Key Plant & Tool Hire's new brand livery, which was implemented at the Sheffield branch following a £250,000 rebrand and refurbishment.
The new brand livery will gradually be rolled out across all of Frank Key Plant & Tool Hire's UK depots. Frank Key Plant & Tool Hire is committed to providing its customers with the best possible service, and this investment in the Iveco Daily is a testament to that commitment.
