KERB's Seven Dials Market Opens in London's West End

KERB, a popular street food collective, has finally found its permanent home in London's West End. The Seven Dials Market, spanning 24,000 square feet, opened its doors to the public, offering a diverse range of food and drink traders under one roof.

The market, a transformation of the historic Thomas Neal's Warehouse, retains its original cast iron beams and brick arches. It is divided into two areas: Cucumber Alley and Banana Warehouse. Cucumber Alley showcases London produce, with vendors offering Lithuanian breads, British charcuterie, Taiwanese pancakes, and ice cream. Banana Warehouse houses a mix of diverse food and drink traders, such as a cheese conveyor belt, vegan Mexican food, and sustainable seafood.

The market is home to 25 independent food businesses, with traders originating from various cities, although a detailed list is not available. Petra Barran, Founder of KERB, expressed excitement about the market being a long-standing dream and a labor of love for the team. Julia Wilkinson, Group Restaurant Strategy Executive at Shaftesbury, praised the market for adding an exciting dimension to the West End, reflecting their strategy of creating special places for people to enjoy. In addition to the food traders, the market also includes a bar featuring London's finest independent drinks producers and a bookshop dedicated to London's food, drink, and culture.

KERB's Seven Dials Market, a result of a £3 million investment, is set to become a vibrant hub for food lovers in the West End. With its unique blend of London produce, diverse food traders, and dedicated spaces for drinks and literature, it promises an exciting dining experience for locals and visitors alike.
