Kuwait Witnesses AI Milestone as ICAI Conducts Initial Offshore AI Course for Certified Accountants
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) Kuwait Chapter continued to strengthen its bonds among members and foster a vibrant and connected professional community in Kuwait by hosting a three-day Certificate Course on Artificial Intelligence (AI) for overseas Chartered Accountants. The event, held from 29th to 31st August 2025 at the Safir Marina Hotel, marked the first overseas AI-focused professional development program for CAs by ICAI.
Over 50 Chartered Accountants attended the workshop, which was conceptualized by CA Aditya Dhanuka, Special Invitee to AI in ICAI committee, in coordination with CA Umesh Sharma, CA Dayaniwas Sharma, and Mr. Vishnu Garg. The program was led by expert faculty-CA Harpreet Singh and CA Amish Thakkar.
The event began with a welcome address by CA Rohit Agarwal, followed by a virtual address from CA Charanjot Singh Nanda, President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. The program reinforced the pivotal role that Chartered Accountants can play in driving digital transformation across Kuwait's corporate landscape.
Day 3 of the event featured real-life business challenges solved through AI, turning learning into practice. Participants expressed appreciation for the program's practical relevance, interactive format, and future-oriented content.
