Lidl Introduces Affordable Multi-Cooker: Monsieur Cuisine Smart
Lidl is set to shake up the kitchen appliance market with the introduction of the Monsieur Cuisine Smart, an affordable alternative to the popular Thermomix. Starting from August 21st, reservations for the new device can be made on Lidl's app, and it will be available in stores from September 4th.
The Monsieur Cuisine Smart, priced between £299 (for Lidl Plus members) and £399, offers a multifunctional cooking experience at a significantly lower price point compared to the Thermomix TM7, which retails for over £1,300.
This new device boasts 15 different cooking functions, including chopping, weighing, mixing, kneading, slow cooking, sautéing, steaming, and stirring, effectively replacing up to 15 kitchen appliances. It comes pre-loaded with over 600 recipes and features a user-friendly 8-inch touchscreen, providing step-by-step guidance for users to cook a full meal from scratch.
While the Thermomix, a cult favourite in the culinary world, offers similar functions such as chopping, kneading, steaming, and slow cooking, it is only available through exclusive advisors, limiting its accessibility. The Monsieur Cuisine Smart, on the other hand, is available in Lidl stores and via the Lidl Plus app for click and collect.
For those who prefer not to use the app, the Monsieur Cuisine Smart will also be available in store from August 29th. The device comes with a range of attachments that replace various kitchen appliances like a food processor, slow cooker, rice cooker, stand mixer, scales, and more.
