Lixil's worldwide identity administration system is secured and made future-proof by Saviynt's Identity Cloud solution.
In a significant development, LIXIL Corporation, a global leader in the water and housing industries, has chosen Saviynt's Identity Cloud for its global identity management system. The implementation of Saviynt's Identity Cloud at LIXIL, a company managing over 70,000 identities across more than 150 countries, has led to meaningful improvements in LIXIL's overall security posture.
The multi-phase deployment, supported by Saviynt Expert Services, modernised LIXIL's legacy identity processes without operational disruption. The cloud-native solution met LIXIL's global needs, including compliance with GDPR data residency requirements and support for Japanese-language user interfaces.
Saviynt's Identity Cloud provides LIXIL with improved user experience, granular identity visibility, proactive audit readiness, global compliance and security, and efficient third-party access governance. The solution streamlined user lifecycle management, making onboarding, offboarding, and self-service access requests more efficient and user-friendly.
Centralised visibility and governance facilitated by Saviynt’s Identity Cloud led to meaningful improvements in security posture through automated access governance and Segregation of Duties (SoD) management. The platform supports AI-powered access reviews and compliance reporting that help LIXIL meet regulatory requirements such as GDPR data residency and internal audit standards.
LIXIL gained comprehensive, centralised insight into user access across its global environment, enabling proactive detection of risk, prevention of conflicting access, and informed decision-making. This visibility extends to complex environments, such as SAP S4 HANA with dynamic authorisation models, supported by Saviynt’s application-level SoD analysis and role-to-application mapping capabilities.
Additional features of the broader Saviynt platform, such as support for open identity standards like SCIM for seamless cloud integration, automation of provisioning/deprovisioning processes, and out-of-the-box rulesets for popular business applications, were likely leveraged in LIXIL’s deployment to reduce custom development and enhance scalability.
By deploying Saviynt’s Identity Cloud, LIXIL enhanced operational efficiency, improved security governance, and ensured compliance across its global, complex infrastructure while providing users with a smoother identity experience and IT teams with centralised, comprehensive visibility and control.
Saviynt, the global leader in AI-based identity security and governance solutions, is recognised as the leader in identity security, with solutions that protect and empower the world's leading brands, Fortune 500 companies, and government institutions.
