Memfault Joins ST Partner Programme for Enhanced Device Monitoring
Memfault, a leading provider of embedded device observability and over-the-air (OTA) platform, has joined the ST Partner Programme. The collaboration aims to enhance STMicroelectronics' customers' development experience, offering advanced monitoring and debugging capabilities.
Founded in 2019 by François Baldassari, Chris Coleman, and Tyler Hoffman, Memfault specialises in supporting IoT companies to develop and operate secure and reliable devices. With a well-established integration with STM32 chips, used by multiple customers worldwide, Memfault brings valuable expertise to STMicroelectronics' partner ecosystem.
STMicroelectronics' customers can now benefit from Memfault's platform, which enables remote debugging, OTA firmware updates, and fleet monitoring. This partnership allows engineering teams to gain insights into firmware stability, battery life, and connectivity, ultimately improving issue detection and resolution time. Siana Systems, another ST Authorised Partner, recommends pairing STM32 chips with Memfault's monitoring and debugging capabilities to meet design challenges and shorten development time.
By joining the ST Partner Programme, Memfault expands its reach, offering STMicroelectronics' customers advanced tools to enhance device performance and reliability. This collaboration is set to strengthen both companies' positions in the IoT market.
