Microsoft Sentinel's Data Lake Boosts Security Capabilities
Microsoft Sentinel, a cloud-native Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) system, has seen a surge in confidence from customers and software development companies. Over the past six months, critical data has been securely migrated into Sentinel, enhancing its security capabilities.
Sentinel's connectors now seamlessly feed data into its data lake, bolstering its security posture. With hundreds of integrations already in place and many more on the way, Sentinel can ingest high volumes of data from a wide range of sources quickly.
Several software companies, such as Ascent Solutions, Semperis, Cyera, and BlueVoyant, have recently joined the Microsoft Sentinel Partner Ecosystem. They work closely with Microsoft's engineering, product, and partner teams to accelerate connector development. These collaborations have resulted in integrated solutions that benefit customers.
The data lake enables security teams to explore new threat hunting, compliance, and investigation scenarios. Microsoft promises that its connectors for the data lake will work out of the box, with App Assure support available for customers and partners.
Microsoft Sentinel's new data lake features became generally available on September 30. Software companies and customers can reach out to App Assure for help integrating with Microsoft Sentinel, ensuring they take full advantage of its robust security platform.
