Navico has unveiled its latest chartplotters, the Zeus SR and NSS4, boasting a more intuitive user interface and additional features. These models mark a significant step forward for the company, which has recently integrated various brands under its umbrella following an acquisition by Brunswick Corporation.

The Zeus SR, available in 10, 12, and 16-inch sizes, stands out with its powerful eight-core processor. It offers hybrid operability, combining a touchscreen with a rotary controller, and includes two freely assignable action buttons. Despite slight dimensional increases, it may not fit as a direct replacement into cutouts of previous versions.

Navico has transitioned from its own NSS operating system to the Neon operating system, first seen in the Nemesis display. The latest product equipped with this system and customizable action buttons is the Lowrance Elite FS. The company has ensured essential functions remain accessible via buttons for tactile input, maintaining a balance between modern and traditional navigation methods.

Navico uses a single hardware platform for its B&G and Simrad chartplotters, differentiating them through tailored software for their respective target groups. Recent introductions include the Zeus S, Zeus S Ultrawide, Zeus SR (B&G), and NSS4 (Simrad).

Navico's Zeus SR and NSS4 chartplotters represent a significant update, offering enhanced user interfaces and additional functionality. With a powerful processor and hybrid operability, these models cater to modern navigators while retaining tactile input options. As Navico continues to integrate its brands, these chartplotters demonstrate the company's commitment to innovation and user experience.
