Apple Unveils New Apple Watch Ultra and AirPods Pro (2nd Generation)
In an exciting announcement, Apple has revealed the Apple Watch Ultra and the second generation of AirPods Pro. Both devices are set to hit the market on September 23.
Apple Watch Ultra
The Apple Watch Ultra is designed for endurance athletes, outdoor enthusiasts, and water sports enthusiasts. Priced at $799 (US), this robust watch is specially crafted for scuba diving to depths of 40 meters with the new Oceanic+ app. The watch features a 49mm titanium case, a flat sapphire front crystal, and a customizable Action button.
The Compass app in watchOS 9 has been redesigned, offering more in-depth information and three distinct views, as well as Waypoints and Backtrack features. The Apple Watch Ultra also boasts the best battery life of any Apple Watch, with up to 36 hours during normal use.
AirPods Pro (2nd Generation)
The new AirPods Pro (2nd generation) come with a host of exciting features. Powered by the new H2 chip, they offer breakthrough audio performance with upgraded Active Noise Cancellation and Transparency mode. The new charging case includes a built-in speaker and Precision Finding for easier location.
The AirPods Pro (2nd generation) also feature Touch control for media playback and volume adjustments. They offer a longer battery life, and the new charging case is sweat- and water-resistant, includes a lanyard loop, and can be personalized with Memoji.
New subscribers can enjoy six months of Apple Music free with the purchase of AirPods Pro (2nd generation). Additionally, three months of Apple Fitness+ are included for customers who purchase the Apple Watch Ultra.
Exclusive Features
Customers can add Memoji engraving to AirPods Pro (2nd generation) cases for free, exclusively in the Apple Store app. This customization service is offered by Apple on their official online platform to ensure quality and authenticity.
The new Oceanic+ app for AirPods Pro (2nd generation) will be available later this fall. Spatial Audio on AirPods Pro (2nd generation) is more immersive and can be personalized with a user's own TrueDepth camera data.
For full feature functionality, both devices should be paired with an Apple device running the latest operating system software. AirPods Pro (2nd generation) can be charged with an Apple Watch charger, MagSafe charger, Qi-certified charging mat, or the Lightning cable.
The Apple Watch Ultra and AirPods Pro (2nd generation) will be available in-store and online starting September 23.
