New Garmin Smartwatch, Venu 4, Unveiled to Challenge Apple Watch Series 11, featuring Integrated Flashlight Functionality
Garmin has announced the release of its latest smartwatch, the Garmin Venu 4. This new model comes with several upgrades and new features, making it a promising addition to the market.
The Garmin Venu 4 offers improved sleep tracking and the addition of a built-in flashlight. Users can choose between a silicone or leather band, with the latter costing an extra £50. The watch will be available in three colours: lunar gold, silver, and black.
One of the standout features of the Venu 4 is its longer battery life. The watch offers 20 hours of GPS tracking, or 17-19 hours with more accurate GPS modes. With the always-on screen, the battery life drops to 4 days. In terms of pricing, the Venu 4 costs £469.99 in the UK and $549.99 in the US.
Lifestyle logging is a new feature on the Venu 4, allowing users to track their caffeine intake, alcohol consumption, and their effects on sleep, stress, and heart rate variability. The watch also includes Garmin's Health Status feature, which analyses heart rate variability overnight to detect potential health issues.
The Venu 4 is more expensive than its predecessor, the Venu 3, and the Apple Watch 11. However, it offers more fitness features and longer battery life than previous models. The watch is intended to rival the Apple Watch Series 11.
For those looking for a comprehensive review of the Venu 4, Tom's Guide will be providing up-to-date news, how-tos, and reviews. They will be comparing the Venu 4 to other smartwatches and Garmin models like the Vivoactive 6.
The Garmin Venu 4 will be available for purchase from 22 September, coming in two sizes: 41mm and 45mm. The watch will also offer new coaching features, such as daily suggested workouts for 25 different sports.
