New offerings in load securing products unveiled by Wistra in 2025's Nufam event
At the Nufam 2025 exhibition in Karlsruhe, Wistra GmbH Cargo Control showcased two new innovations designed to revolutionise the cargo area organisation and load securing solutions for airlines. The new Quattro-Halter and the Airline Cross Connector were presented at stands B 207 in Hall 2 and C 303 in Hall 3.
The Quattro-Halter, specifically designed for the innovative Sperrbalkensysteme Pen-Beam and Twist-Beam, is made of black powder-coated steel. It can be attached or removed within seconds without tools on any Airline rail using a star grip. The holder accommodates up to four Sperrbalken in two parking angles, providing organisation in the cargo area and quick access to load securing aids.
The Cross Connector, another new development from Wistra, is made of lightweight aluminium. It can be attached to vertical and horizontal airline tracks for secure transport of items such as fire extinguishers. The Cross Connector facilitates straightforward fixing and tidying of onboard accessories.
The Twist-Beam, a key component of the Quattro-Halter, features a special spring mechanism and can be anchored in airline track systems with a simple twist. It does not transfer pressure to the outer walls during insertion, benefiting the new Quattro Holder. The Twist-Beam is primarily made from high-strength aluminium, ensuring energy-efficient use.
Wistra's offerings include the complete range of load securing aids, including lashing straps, lashing rails, partition wall locks, load bars, jointed load bars, securing aids such as lashing points, edge protection angles, and anti-slip mats. The expanded airline tracks are available from stock in silver or black anodized finishes, in lengths of two or three meters, and optionally up to a length of six meters.
The anodized airline tracks feature a countersunk hole for mounting in the vehicle at every fourth hole, and are available in semi-circular and square profiles. The new Cross Connector is delivered individually including a bracket or completely including a 2-kilogram fire extinguisher.
Wistra GmbH Cargo Control specialises in the development and manufacturing of load securing aids. They will present the new Quattro holder for the locking bar systems Pen-Beam and Twist-Beam at Nufam, which takes place from September 25 to 28, 2025, in Karlsruhe.
The new Quattro-Halter, designed by Wistra GmbH Cargo Control, is set to make a significant impact in the airlines' cargo area organization and load securing solutions, given its innovative integration with the Sperrbalkensysteme Pen-Beam and Twist-Beam. This development, together with the lightweight aluminum Cross Connector, signifies a fusion of technology and industry, aimed at improving the overall finance-related efficiency of airline operations.
