New slate for IABM's board of directors announced, effective in 2025

The International Trade Association for Broadcast and Media Technology (IABM) has confirmed its Members' Board for 2025, marking a pivotal moment for the industry and the association. With a renewed Board and strong engagement from the membership, IABM is well-positioned to continue building a globally connected, forward-looking association.

Josh Arensberg from Verizon has been appointed as the Chair of the 2025 IABM Members' Board. Acknowledging his re-election, Arensberg expressed gratitude and welcomed the new Board members, looking forward to supporting IABM's CEO, Saleha Williams, and her team to drive IABM forward and secure future success.

Williams, CEO of IABM, emphasised the importance of this moment, stating, "This is a pivotal moment for the industry and for IABM. With a renewed Board and strong engagement from the membership, we are well-positioned to continue building a globally connected, forward-looking association."

The new members of the IABM Members' Board for 2025 are:

  • Steph Lone – AWS
  • Alison Pavitt – Blue Lucy
  • Oscar Teran – EVS
  • Adam Marshall – Grass Valley
  • Glodina Lostanlen – Imagine Communications
  • Hasan R. Sayed Hasan – MasterMedia
  • Ajey Anand – Norigin
  • Tom Wootton – Red Bee Media
  • Chris Lennon – Ross Video
  • Anna Lockwood – Telstra

The IABM Members' Board continues to play a vital role, including input to the association's long-term strategy, championing innovation, and representing diverse voices within its global membership.

In addition, Paul Stechley, Thomas Gunkel, and Sumit Suri have been appointed as the Chairs of IABM Member Councils.

IABM's transformation program, focusing on global engagement, enhancing member services, and reinforcing its position as the independent voice of the industry, is now six months into a two-year strategy.

IABM will be active at IBC2025, with the IABM Hub located in the RAI Diamond Lounge, featuring the IABM Member Lounge, IABM Impact Stage, and IABM TV. A full AGM summary, including additional updates and insights, is available at www.iabmimpact.com.

Andreas Hilmer from Lawo is the Immediate Past Chair, while David Phillips is a Board Member from Multicast. Jade Kurian is a Board Member from latakoo, and Peter Sykes is a Board Member from Sony. Lucinda Meek is the CFOO of IABM.

The announcement was made during IABM's Annual General Meeting (AGM) on July 21, 2025, which had the highest attendance in recent years.
